Privacy Policy — Pivot

Pivot is an internal warranty and repair-tracking tool built for Nodus Watches and Connexus. This page explains what data Pivot accesses through your Google account, and how it's used.

Who this applies to

Pivot is used by Nodus and Connexus staff, and by brand representatives at partner companies who work with Connexus (for example, watch brands that use Connexus for repair fulfillment). It is not a public consumer product — access is granted individually to each person by a Pivot administrator.

What we access, and why

When you sign in to Pivot with Google, and depending on your role, Pivot may request the following permissions:

• Your name and email address — to identify who's signed in and apply the correct role and permissions.
• Send email on your behalf (Gmail) — used only when you take an explicit action in Pivot that sends an email, such as replying to a customer about their repair. Pivot does not read your inbox, and does not send email without you initiating the action.
• View your Gmail "send as" settings — used only to check whether a shared address (like customerservice@noduswatches.com) is set up to send from your account, so Pivot can tell you whether an email you send will show the right "from" address. Pivot does not read message content.
• Read and write specific Google Sheets — Pivot is built around a small number of specific spreadsheets that Nodus and Connexus already use to track warranty claims, inventory, and pricing. Pivot reads and writes only those specific sheets, never a person's Google Drive or Sheets more broadly.

How the spreadsheet access actually works

For most people using Pivot, spreadsheet reading is handled through one designated administrator account, rather than each person's own Google permissions. This means most staff and brand representatives do not need direct access to the underlying spreadsheets at all — Pivot reads the data on their behalf, scoped to what their role is allowed to see inside the app. The administrator account that powers this is connected explicitly and can be disconnected at any time by a Pivot administrator.

Some actions — like updating a ticket's warranty spreadsheet row directly — may still use the signed-in person's own Google account, if they have been given direct access to that spreadsheet.

What we don't do

• We don't sell, rent, or share your Google data with third parties.
• We don't use your Google data for advertising.
• We don't access data outside the specific spreadsheets Pivot is configured to use.
• We don't read the contents of your email inbox.

Where data is stored

Ticket and warranty information you enter into Pivot (customer names, repair details, ticket status, and similar) is stored in a Supabase database used exclusively for Pivot. Supabase acts as our data processor for this purpose. Google account data (like your name and email) is stored only to the extent needed to identify you and apply your role — Pivot does not create a separate copy of your Gmail or Sheets content beyond what's needed to display and update ticket records.

Your access

You can review or revoke Pivot's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. If you'd like your account removed from Pivot entirely, contact us using the information below.

Changes to this policy

If how Pivot uses Google data changes meaningfully, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will reflect that.
